Why does the Healthcare Snap want an email address when making an account?

In order to provide our Users with a more personalized, relevant, and intelligent service, we regularly make improvements to this Site. The collection of personal data greatly assists us in this improvement process by identifying the interests and needs of the many Users to this Site. Data collection also assists us by allowing us and our affiliates to advertise products and/or services in a more efficient manner.

Although our primary goal in collecting personal information is to deliver a customized and personalized service to you, with permission, we also use the personal information we collect to (i) send Users e-mail of new features or information available through the Site or that we otherwise feels might be of interest to Users of this Site and (ii) allow third party advertisers and retailers, and their affiliates, offering goods or services that we think might be of interest to Users of this Site to deliver to you relevant information and offers. Users have the option to easily delete their account to remove themselves from our databases. If the account has been deleted, we no longer keep information on it. We also collect IP addresses, or the location of your computer on the Internet, for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes, and to report aggregate information to our advertisers and others.
